Water in a basement is rarely just a basement problem. We start by finding where it is actually coming from — grading, gutters, foundation cracks, hydrostatic pressure — and then fix the cause rather than the symptom.

Depending on what the inspection finds, that might mean exterior excavation and membrane, interior drainage and a sump system, crack injection, or simply correcting drainage away from the building.

We give you the findings in writing with photographs, including the options we ruled out and why.

Common questions

How do I know if I need waterproofing?
Common signs are water stains on walls, a musty smell, white powdery residue (efflorescence), peeling paint, visible mould, or standing water after rain. If you have any of these, an inspection will tell you the cause.
Interior or exterior waterproofing — which do I need?
It depends on the source. Exterior work addresses water before it reaches the wall and is more involved; interior systems manage water that has already got in. The inspection determines which is appropriate, and sometimes it is both.
How long does the work take?
Crack injection can be a single day. Interior drainage typically takes two to four days. Exterior excavation depends on access and depth and is usually a week or more.
